Real-life "Transformers" could soon be used by American soldiers on the battlefield. The Pentagon's research arm, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), is well into the second phase of a project to develop "programmable matter" that could reshape itself to fit any situation, reports SIGNAL magazine.
Bruce- Second Phase? I wonder how phase one went. You notice we don't hear about it until phase two? It means it is further along than we know! Technology, in and of itself, isn't wrong. It's just that those in power today shouldn't be able to use (abuse) it!
