Philippians 4:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

It is abundantly clear we need guidance in these days....

Where can we get those answers?

The Bible holds all the answers to your questions.

I know that many believe that it is too late for the United States and we should not pray for our nation. I do respect their opinion on this matter. It is abundantly clear that God does not approve of the course we have taken on so many issues. As stated, Woe unto those who call evil good. There is a lot of that going on, isn't there?

Still, I'm either going to have to be raptured or martyred before I give up on this country, freedom and liberty. Maybe I'm wrong... maybe I'm misguided... but it is not for me to just sit there and watch the cookie crumble. However, I do respect all opinions and sincere views/ beliefs.

However, if God still loves his children and there are children of God in the United States, it stands to reason that he will deliver us as he did Lot (move us or take us home?) or he will hear our prayer for revival.

Because, didn't he instruct us --

2 Chronicles 7:14... If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Father, bring revival, heal this land, allow us to be an instrument to bring a harvest of souls into your kingdom and may we be a blessing to you....

I have so many things bursting forth on where I want this blog to go...

"But Bruce, America is too far gone!"

And, Lazarus was too far dead.

I was told recently that the old hymn "I'll fly away" was written during the Great Depression because many Christians believed that the Depression was evidence that the rapture was going to take place (and a decade later, Hitler was the sign). Christians wanted to bolt out of here, rather than be the blessing of the unsaved who might have been yet saved.

Do you remember what Jesus asked the Father?

I do not ask Thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.

We are His living witnesses and we must take that seriously.

As Thou didst send Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

Did he send us into the world to wait for Him or to be proactive (please please please..these are general statements, I am thinking of no one in particular as I write this- no need to email me)?

I say this in love....we are brothers and sisters of His family...let my words be a blessing to you... He wants us here now doing His good work and He says He will keep us from the evil one!

Let's do this together! Let's join in agreement for the salvation of our neighbors...Let's create havoc for evil, rather than wringing our hands that the devil's a' winnin' (woe is me)... Granted as many rightly point out, the church isn't doing it's job for the most part...but that doesn't mean we are also not accountable for the lost, for the evil we allow to triumph in our country, in our abortion clinics, the starving people who will never see a Savior give them food to eat, the naked who will never be clothed.

How can we escape the world with our tail between our legs? Doesn't the Word say we are overcomers?

I'm sorry... but I haven't begun... I want to leave a bigger legacy. How about you?

(fyi... cat passed away today... you really don't know how much love you put into an animal -or how much you received- until they are gone)
