Signs outside of the Bible are sometimes fascinating and, possibly, important...but there is no substitute for the Word Of God. The danger of looking at the signs is that they may contradict the Scriptures ... or add to it. In which case, one would be advised to be careful. Case in point- What did the carnal hearted Mayans really know about 2012? Truthfully, I don't have the answer to that...but I think God gave us what we need to know. And, He did give us specific signs in His Word that line up to many events happening today. When you think about it...this is another aspect of faith (not just trust, but)... taking God at HIS WORD.

Remember, false prophets can also be "doom and gloomers." Rest in the Lord, put your full faith in Him. Do not be moved by the 'Fear Factory.' The Bible clearly states that your actions should not be based in fear....
