I do believe this is a birth defect (actually, I was corrected by Lynn during the show, birth anomaly may be a more appropriate description), by the way. However, this does take us down several avenues.
First, we know that food is being genetically modified- what is this doing to our bodies?
Second, according to Isaiah from the Greek Septuagint Bible, the nephilim will return in the last days. How will they return? In physical form (twelve fingers and toes, two rows of teeth?)? or as a supernatural entity alone?
