Well, it's been six months since I ventured onto AM radio.

It's been a long journey of starting on radio in entertainment, losing that... going on internet radio...and coming back to AM radio thanks to Jesus Christ and His perfect timing. Had I remained as an all entertainment program, I have no doubt that I would not be on the radio today. So, I take that very seriously.

I'm sure that not every program has been for everyone- but I have tried to mix it up a bit so that more and more people will listen to the program. I have had many guests who have, admittedly, not been Christian and I have been careful to make that distinction and have, on many occasions, pointed out subtly the strong differences- where else have you found this type of program? I haven't.
.
Despite my flaws as a human being, God's grace has been upon me while doing this show. And, I think it is fair to say, although it is hard to as I don't want it to be perceived as boastful, that this program has carved out a very unique niche in radio. The program is hard to pin down as to "what it is" and therefore has created extremely unique radio. That's not thanks to me, that's thanks to guests who helped drive the show and listeners who gave suggestions.

As many of you know, the station supports the two largest cities in New Hampshire and they have posted my face and show mention on the main page (www.wsmnradio.com). So, I believe that God is still at work in this format. Having said that, I also know that we need to change the content to be more of a banner for Jesus Christ then it has been. In fact, the last few weeks and months, I have felt the presence of God as never before- I'm still not perfect- but I find myself wanting to spend more time with God and less time in studies about UFOs and conspiracies. So, I believe the natural outcome of all of this is that the show is going to be more and more about Jesus.

There have been plenty of people in this business and in the fringe topics that I cover who I have found were not what they said they were. Some of them are Christians (and I will not judge if they are or not- I'm not God). For a time, I wanted to speak out against them...but now, I simply want to do what I am called to do and leave the rest alone.
.
A wise person once told me that it is better to be clear than to be clever. This is so often overlooked in the type of radio that I do...but I have purposely always made that so. If you noticed it, it was intentional. In the past, I have asked some guests one question four or five times in said amount of visits. Why? I felt it was the most important point they could make and it needed to be said. I didn't care about ratings or trying to look smarter.

If you are looking for the next clever high, the next UFO sighting, the next prophetic movie of doom analysis or the next numerological significant event- you may not find that here soon. You might only find the presence of the Lord. And, quite frankly, could we do better? I don't think so.
.
Now for the announcement- things look good for another six months on WSMN!!

These are tough times and I sympathize whenever I hear stories of people who are going through a lot economically, etc. I have never asked nor begged nor merchandised the program but I would like to ask a favor (knowing that some of you have much more important issues to deal with and I understand- this is not nearly as important as your well being). If you can, would you help to spread the word for this program? Those of you who can, I would deeply appreciate it. The program is not going to change too dramatically but notwithstanding Wally Amos this weekend and a possible appearance occasionally by my friend Brett Wagner, most guests and topics will delve into much of what we have been doing for the last four years. The difference will be the purposeful 'fitting in' of these topics by placing the priority first on bringing listeners to a relationship with Jesus Christ. Let's stop burying that by placing the priority on Mayan calendars, UFOs and secret handshakes of the Illuminati.

They can only be defeated One Way anyway, right?

Having said all that, let me emphasize...I do plan to change the program in small ways. This will take place in May.....
