For many people in the United States, their homes have become sinking ships. Yet when the Obama administration offered a life jacket to these many drowning Americans, most of us expected to see them out of the water by now. Sadly, according to the Associated Press, hundreds of thousands of people who have applied for aid under the federal foreclosure prevention program have yet to discover if they are even approved.
