Here is a sampling of some of my thoughts and beliefs that I have posted over the last two days- I hope that they are an encouragement to you as I believe that God wants to encourage you.

I got some heat for some of these statements but I will stand by them. I do not put my finger in the wind to decide how other people believe and see what is most popular.


Bruce Collins The Law says sin less, so you can be closer to God. Grace says be closer to God and you will sin less.

Bruce Collins So many people want to put the Ten Commandments in our courthouses but if the people understood grace- we wouldn't need most of the courthouses!

Bruce Collins Sheep do not take inventory of the wolves on the hill nor do they fret about whether or not they will have enough provisions...they just follow the Shepherd. Likewise, a good shepherd has no fear of the wolves and plans ahead for his near sighted little ones.

Bruce Collins 2The Lord was with Joseph and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. - Some versions say that Joseph was a Success- a slave/ a captive a success? So, what is success? You are successful when God says you are succesful... and you are righteous when God says you are righteous! The physical manifestation comes after the command of God!

Bruce Collins If you look at history, God takes the outcasts, the downtrodden, the lowly and the meek...and makes them righteous!

Bruce Collins The Past is the past- let it go! Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Bruce Collins The Believer's sin has been punished...but in the body of Jesus Christ

Bruce Collins When you read in the Bible about John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, it is in the book of....John! Imagine that.... He understood the depths of the love of Jesus. May we all know this today...

Bruce Collins People who are under the law brag about how much they love God. Those who are under Grace brag about how much God loves them.

Bruce Collins Romans 4:5- However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness. Romans 8:1- Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

Bruce Collins Acts 13- Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who BELIEVES IS JUSTIFIED from ALL things from which you could NOT be justified by the law of Moses. (We have buried it under a pile of theology. Take the Gospel's free salvation ...at face value, dare to believe God, and walk in the full newness of life in Christ. )
