Tomorrow (Friday), many will be watching NASA's moon bomb experiment. Why on Earth they are doing this- I have no idea.
Saturday and Sunday- Keep in mind Pastor Xavier's prophecy re: nuclear holocaust in Washington DC sometime around the 10th or 11th of October...wouldn't you know it...he is backpedaling a bit. Many fringe radio commentators and bloggers jumped on the bandwagon with the P-X's divine tale of doom. I didn't rush out to report the story because this is, sadly, an all too familiar story along the edges of reality, fantasy and extremism. This movement- the Bible prophecy/ patriot/ Truth movement- would be so much better off if those who want to assume leadership positions would work on their credibility just a tad bit.
Now, the 'good' Pastor is saying that he is not sure about the exact date but he is still positive that God told him that it was October (the Pastor has had a history of incorrect date setting predictions). Why, oh why, do these people do these types of things? Do they not realize they are doing more harm than good in the world? Do they care?
Lastly, would you consider sending an email to info@wsmnradio.com. This is my flagship station (hopefully, more to come) and it appears that their listen live links do not work. Please, if you can, would you email them and tell them that you want to listen live to The Bruce Collins Show on Saturday mornings. If you could do that for me, that would be a huge favor and I would greatly appreciate it. In terms of being able to hear the show, I will be posting a link after the broadcast so that you can hear it...but emailing WSMN has a two fold effect: 1. they will know that The Bruce Collins Show has an audience that transcends the local market, 2. they will feel additional pressure to fix their steam problem.
